Lee Roy Kunz is a writer, director, and actor from Denver, Colorado. His most recent film, "Deliver Us" (2023), in which he wrote, directed, and starred, was released by Magnolia Pictures. The film was recognized by The New York Times as one of the top 5 horror movies you must see and also featured in Variety’s Top Horror Films of 2023. Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Lee Roy lives with his fiancée, fifteen-month-old son, and has another baby on the way. Alongside his filmmaking pursuits, Lee Roy is also a graphic novelist and musician. He is proficient in playing seven instruments, with a particular fondness for the guitar and American Folk music. Additionally, he is a beer enthusiast, a certified Cicerone, and a homebrewer. Lee Roy has spent the last 12 years working on his third feature film, "Devil's Fruit," in a style reminiscent of "Boyhood," where the characters age naturally over time. A labor of love, he began working on it at 23 years old, in small pieces over time and was finally able to secure full financing and complete it thanks to the success of "Deliver Us."
